This is an issue known for quite a while and doesn’t really belong here. However, StarBurn informed me that they are currently working on this, so I marked this as “started” now. ETA: A few weeks according to them. (Based on past experiences, rather expect a couple of months.)AdminCanneverbe Limited (Admin, CDBurnerXP) supported this idea ·
Are you referring to packet writing? If so, no, this will not be included in CDBurnerXP.
StarBurn probably has already fixed the verification issue. I'm just waiting for a version which is stable enough to include in CDBurnerXP.
Because it is hard to get it working properly (across all hardware).
Yes, I want this too. However, StarBurn needs to implement (or rather expose) this feature first which will take a while.
Not using Unicode is not supported at this point and won't help a lot of users either, because ASCII only is not an option for most of them.
How does this help with burning a series of different discs? Why not start burning the next disc without exiting CDBurnerXP?
I still don’t like it, but keep voting for it ;)
"For drive diagnostic purposes it would be great." - Well, that is why I personally don't like it. People using CDBurnerXP are not making a diagnosis usually. For anyone who doesn't, the additional progress bar is just confusing. Still, I won't stop anyone from voting for this feature.
I do not consider this feature useful. What advantage do you gain from this information?
You could also call it "crossfading".
StarBurn needs to fix a few bugs in order for this to work properly. However, there are other more important issues to solve currently, so this has to wait.
